Install Wordpress in Local System using XAMPP

Wordpress is CMS tool and we can learn it very easily. We can manage website without coding knowledge.

Step 1: Download wordpress from wordpress.org website and extract it in your local system.
Step 2: Copy extracted files to htdocs folder
Step 3: Now start the Xampp and go to Phpmyadmin.
Step 4: Create a database.

Step 5: Open new tab in the browser type localhost/yourfoldername
Step 6: Choose lanaguage -> English and Click Continue

Step 7: Keep ready your database details and Click Let's go.

Step 8: Enter database details

Database Name: Your Database Name
Username: root
Password: Leave it blank
Database Host: Localhost
Table Prefix : If you want, you can change it or leave it.

Step 9: Run the installation

Step 10: Fill your Website Title, Admin username and password details here. Click Install Wordpress.

You have successfully completed wordpress installation. Now you can login to your admin panel and check your website.
